But Julie Foldesi went on for the first time as Jo and was wonderful! I really felt for her. She found out only this morning and had a few hours to prepare. She did an amazing job - never would have dreamed it was her first time in the role.

As the show is still in previews I'll reserve criticism. The show has problems but nothing that can't be worked out. All in all I really enjoyed it. In a way it reminds me of Jane Eyre.

My only major gripe that I'll voice here is John Hickock - with his gorgeous trumpet of a voice - is grossly under-utitlized! But I'm a fan of his so I'm biased.

Very faithful to the book. I hope to see it again!
