No more autogrpahs?

So I heard that since the bombing, all shows don't allow autographs after the performance.... which makes complete sense after what happened.
"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."

That's strange... I was at the Palace stage door last Saturday evening (July 9), and no one chased us away. A couple of friends were at the Queens stage door that same night and weren't chased either.

Where did you hear this?

I know that in the week after the bombs, Guys and Dolls wasn't allowing stage door autographs, probably due to the high profile of Ewan McGregor. Other than that, I believe that most shows are allowing them now...

Wow, I didn't know that it was possible to ask for autographs...if so, which is the way to do it? after or before the show? where is the stage door? is it necessary to know anybody of the cast or everyone can do it?. I don't think it will be easy to ask McGregor for an autograph due to his fame in movies...but maybe is possible in other shows? Tell me please! Thank you all!

re: No more autogrpahs?

As I understand it from friends who have seen Guys and Dolls, Ewan does sign autographs after the show, but you have to line up. They apparently have people out there to keep the line in order. One thing to keep in mind -- Ewan has said that he will only sign Guys and Dolls stuff -- nothing from Star Wars.

You don't need to know anyone in the cast to get an autograph. Doing it after the show is usually better. You'll need to find out where the stage door is and go there after the curtain calls. It's the same with just about any show, but most of the others don't use the set-up I described above.
