Another Les Mis fan told me at the final performance in St. Louis that a Non-Equity tour of Les Mis was in the works. Has anyone else heard this rumor? (And don't tell me to use a search engine!)

I've heard that, too. Supposedly it'll start up whenever the revival closes, since that's where the set and rest of the physical production is going to have to come from.

(Calling fredrichVT!)

I know some theaters are now being granted licenses to produce the full production. Once the Non-Equity tour starts, will Mackintosh again forbid all surrounding theaters to produce Les Mis? I'm hoping to do it at my college or a community theater.

I doubt it. Only if they're within a certain distance, like the LMSE. The national tour and all the LMSEs ran concurrently; they just couldn't do it if they got within 75 miles.
