Have you ever noticed some of the songwriters and singers out there who even though not officially writing for the theatre have a keen grasp of what a character is and write theatrically.
My reason for making this thread was after listening to the Fiona Apple album "Extraordinary Machine" I am convinced someone could make a musical out her songs without it feeling like a jukebox show.
