Norbert out of DRS this week

Special thanks to Greg Jbara for the info. He is away shooting the minseries "Commanche Moon" for CBS. Just wanted to let people who may be interested in seeing the show this week know that he will not be there.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

Interesting. One week is hardly enough time to appear in a lead role in a miniseries. Not even a featured role. Well, only if its VERY closely broken down.Very curious now.

it's probably just the begining of the season. He'll probably film more for after he leaves DRS. *tear*

Ohh. Well I'm going today, and Jason has been great as Freddy, so I'm sure I'll still enjoy it.

I hope the mini-series does well for him.

CBS is a nasty place *shiver*

Anyway... I know he will be missed this week, not only by his castmates, but the many people who have tickets.

He *is* Freddy and this is a star turn for him. I am grateful to have been able to see him in the role with the OBC.

I'm sorry - but where does it say he's playing the lead?

re: Norbert out of DRS this week

He's not playing the lead - he hasn't even been mentioned in any of the big media releases about it. It seems we're just spectulating as to the size of his role based on how long he'll be filming.

re: Norbert out of DRS this week

It did seem surprising to me since I've never met anyone outside of the theatre world (as audience) who's ever heard of him. This is the link to the IMDB listing:

What a cast! Yet Norbert's name is absent. Strange. I doubt he would get a generic role, especially if CBS wants him to headline a sitcom. But then again, he isnt famous yet lol

re: Norbert out of DRS this week

Well if u do think about it, (and sadly I do) Judi Dench is only on screen in Shakespeare in Love for 15 mins total yet no one carps about the role being too small. It ain't whatcha got it's what ya do with it!

I was just about to get a ticket for the 14th but I am wondering if he will be there?

re: Norbert out of DRS this week

Sabrelady is right. Judi Dench won an Oscar for that role (and she deserved it).

I want to see Tim play Freddy. that would be cool.

Thanks for the heads-up... I guess this answers my question of which lotto to try this week.
