I want to sing this song in the key that it is done in productions, but when I find it in vocal selections and single sheets its always in a different key. Will the only way i can get the production key be to be the score?

You can find it in the Tenor Vocal Anthology in the correct key (Ab) as well as in the vocal score. Any performing arts library that is worth a grain of salt should have either in stock. This is a very accessible song to find.
