Does anyone have anything positive to say about these sequels to Nunsense (Nunsense 2, Nunsense Jamboree, Meshuggahnuns, Nunsensations)? I'm reading though them as I thought one of them might be right for a season I am helping plan and they are all tired rehash of stale material with so-so not very interesting songs. Is it just me or should Dan Goggin have stopped putting us though this long ago? Am I missing something?

Personally, I LOVE all the Nunsense shows! Rev. Mother is my all time favorite role I've ever played and would LOVE to play her in the rest of the shows! NUNCRACKERS is probably the best of the sequels (although I don't really know Meshugah-Nuns or Nunsensations as well as the others, yet.) I've heard, though, that Nunsensations is suppoed to be VERY good! The DVD comes out sometime soon. Even if you don't like them, audiences always LOVE the NUNSI - as I call them - and you can't miss with them!

I'm in a production of Nuncrackers and it is one of the funniest shows I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

I haven't heard the other shows, just heard OF them. Meshugah-nuns sounds hilarious just from the title.

I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)
