(O/T) Back to school......

So, it's that time of year again! Back to school tomorrow. I am on the school newspaper staff this year and the classroom is full of computers, so I will probably have time to be on here during the day, but if not, I will always check after school! I go to school where all they care about is sports so I am going to try to start a Broadway column in the newspaper! I better get to sleep. Sueleen, I finished my book, Huck Finn. When does everyone else go/did go back to school?

I wasn't referring to you Peej, I guess our posts crossed in the ether. And, 11, well, I mean, a Broadway theater column for a school newspaper where athletics is the focus? Just transfer to Harvey Milk now, you'll catch up later. It'll make your senior prom so much less traumatic.

I didn't say athletics was the focus. They just spend a lot more money on sports. That is why our 200 seat "theatre" is also a band, choir, and meeting room! That's also why there is an Entertainment Section and a Sports Section.

BW11, yes, ask your teacher to explain it. It has more to do with Huck and Jim escaping the confines of a society that will not accept their forbidden love slavery is only a metaphor for sexual repression. Huck even dresses as a woman. Maybe you should make this the thesis of your book report.

ahh my school officially started today ... but i worked my schedule just to go on Tuesdays/Thursdays only .... that way i get a 4 day weekend every weekend!!

I wish I was back in high school! The real world sucks... enjoy it while it lasts. Don't fret, just do your work, party on the side... sing, dance... pretend to be other people (only on stage, of course!!!)... enjoy yourself while you're free of any responsibility!

How I wish "the mean people" were going back to school (boarding school in Siberia, that is) so that this board would be "nice" again. You know who you aren't. Luv ya! Mean it!
