For school we have a certain book we need to read during the summer. I have to read The Adventures of Huck Finn. I am on page 160 and there is 279. Think I will finish?? School starts Tuesday.

ys... please do the reading. What if someone intentionally were to post b.s. info about it here JUST to see if you would actually catch it or put it in the paper.

yes, Huck is a great read.

Huck Finn IS an amazing book. I had so much fun reading it. There are a lot of underlying homoerotic themes supposedly in it. (Not that this is an essential part in making the book fun to read...) There are a lot of interesting commentary on society, racism/prejudice, and morals...yet at the same time it is action packed. Sit down, read it, and have fun.

Cheers,
The Balladeer

So, are there homoerotic themes, or just supposedly?

I'm in a honors English class and we're reading Les Miz right now. It's really funny because no one in my class understands it, but because of my knowledge of the musical, it's a breeze!

How does Hugo handle all of the spinning in the novel?
