Final thoughts: I wanted to say THANK YOU again to everyone. Your kind words, your patience with a newbie’s over-the-top child-like enthusiasm, and the many tips that I received in another thread on things to make sure I did while there. I missed a few of those highlights, but I’ll get them in 77 days when I return for another quick double-header - “Hello, Dolly!” with Bette Midler, and “My Fair Lady”.
In between now and then, 48 days from now, I do have the Broadway National Tour of “Hamilton”. And yes, you could have guessed it, I’m already listening to the album. I wasn’t sure I’d get into it, but I’m really enjoying the music! A lot!
Absolutely LOVE my souvenirs from the two shows I saw, they’re priceless, including the gorgeous “Hello, Dolly!” program book. It’s stunning.
I wrote reviews and thoughts on both shows and placed them in their respective threads, with pictures.
All-in-all, I took over 700 pictures in the short time I was in NYC - just about everything I saw in and around Broadway, Times Square, subway rides back and forth to The Oculus, and my final stop before heading to the airport, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
For such a very short trip, I had an amazing journey.
Until next time.
