I preordered it from Amazon just for the title song. It's so pretty!

I wish though that Kerry Butler were in the Broadway cast, and that they hadn't replaced "Good Boy" with "Ireland."

I disliked "Ireland" in the show. It just pissed me off :-/

I'm not a fan of this recording, especially the Greek Chorus and LBB. I know they are trained musical theatre actors, but I wish they wouldn't SOUND like it. I can just hear the annunciation, and it takes away from the character, IMO.

Having heard more of the OBC, I don't think LBB sounds bad in "So Much Better," but in "Legally Blonde" she's breathy at times.

Oh, and hopefully I won't get lynched for this, but: I think it has a better score than TWS.

my favorite song is "What You Want" by far! so energetic, so catchy, and everyone sounds top-notch.
my question is, since i have the leak version (but WILL be buying the physical cd in july), how long is "What You Want" on the cd? on the leak, the song is almost 9 minutes long, so I was wondering if it was shortened or not.

other than that, the cd is very good, and actually made me want to see the show again, which is a pretty amazing feat. the songs are actually very good, and i enjoyed them more on the cd than in the show!
and Laura Bell sounds awesome, except for a few times in "So Much Better" her voice sounds kinda scratchy, and not as full as usual. but other than that, she sounds pretty darn great :)

Yes greek, the lyrics are in the booklet along with lots of pictures of Bundy, not quite as many as there should be of the rest of the cast and a pretty lame 'synopsis' written by Heather Hach that introduces the songs. I don't think regular people (read, non musical theater fanatics) bother with the booklet at all. The CD was 20 dollars.

What You Want is 8 and a bit minutes. It isn't shortened (It has the all the dialogue).

They're new recordings. Various changes were mad (particularly in So Much Better) sinc the sampler recordings.

hey. I love to hear from ppl who got it already and say they love it alot. I want mine on monday so bad. Yeah i work at a movie theatre and they still have the SF so much better version. Its not our fault the company gives us a cd and thats a song thts on it. AMC/Loews has a thing or something with movietunes. I like da new version better more.

I ordered it about a week ago and got an e-mail from Sh-k-boom telling me they had shipped it out. I got this e-mail yesterday. So I'm guessing I should be expecting it in the mail on Monday?

For those who bought the CD off of Sh-K-Boom...how many days after the shipment notification did you get the CD?

I like the demo of Omigod much better than what I've heard of the OBCR. To me, the Greek CHorus sounds much better on the demo.
