apparently there was a reading today of the new Britney spears musical. I dont know if its broadway bound, but here are some of the names who was involved: Arielle Jacobs, Laura Dreyfuss, Kara Lindsay, Caroline Bowmen, Corey Cott, Ben Frankhauser. The reading took place at Nederlander Productions. Looks cool!

There was a 29 hour reading of this project this week, and if you check out Cortney Reed and Justin Guarini's Instagram stories, maybe you can sleuth out who all is participating.  It sounds like they are presenting it to Spears herself tonight?

Didn't this have a "Passion of the Christ" esque plot at one point, or am I hallucinating again?

I recall reading it on Playbill, if anybody wants to verify.

That was a separate Spears musical created by Patrick Blute called “SPEARS: The Gospel According to Britney“ originating at Columbia University.
