Saw this stunning, inventive, electric production for the first time last Sunday and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. Can we PLEASE get a cast recording other than the couple of songs that were recorded off Broadway?

Anyone else want to share the love?

"the stage too must experiment - with ideas, with the psychological relationship of men and women, with speech and rhythm forms, with dance and movement, with color and light - or it must and should become a museum product. in an age of terrific implications as to wealth and poverty, as to the function of government, as to peace and war, as to the relation of the artist to all these forces, the theatre must grow up. the theatre must become conscious of the implications of the changing social order, or the changing social older will ignore, and rightly, the implications of the theatre." - hallie flanagan, director of the federal theatre project

Since this is a "Love Thread", I hope that those that have seen it can provide seating advice.

I can get either seat A-1 (First Row Left on the aisle) or L-106 (13 rows back in the center). I looked at the video clips and it seems like a lot going on and that being further back might be better. I recall from "Spring Awakening" that the Eugene O'Neill stage is low however.

Thanks for your help.

Steve2- Both seats are great! I sat in that exact seat (A-1) and loved it! You are really in the action and it feels like you are truly in the club. You do miss some projection action on the side, but it is nothing too important. Also if you do not like cast interaction this in not the seat for you, as you'll most likely be asked to dance etc. The other seat is good too. There you can see the overview of everything, but it loses some of the energy from being in the front row.

If you buy one cast recording this Broadway season, let it be FELA! Original Broadway Cast Recording. You'll thank me. I am thankful that we at least have one exceptional cast recording for the annals this score-poor season and this is it. Updated On: 5/20/10 at 08:05 AM
