I was so happy to hear this yesterday. I was also a little surprised that they decided to release Clay's before Ruben's....even though Clay *is* finished and Ruben is still working on his.

But, Ruben seemed to be pretty understanding and supportive of the decision and said there wasn't any reason for Clay to sit around and wait on him, and I respect him for that.

I was at the "Idols" concert the other night and Clay sounded better live than anything I'd heard on the show ....and I wouldn't have thought that possible. I'm looking forward to his CD.

Well all I can say is that I am thrilled Clay has his finished and ready to go. I truthfully was having major issues with the Juniors show...so any stuff from Clay will be welcome!

In the first part of the concert, they Idols came out and sang one song in the order they were kicked off the show. Clay sang his single "This is the Night", and the crowd went insane. The audience had a much stronger reaction to Clay than to Ruben (all throughout the show) and it was so obvious. I mean obvious to the point where it was almost akward! But, what can you say? I still can't figure out how he didn't win.

In the second act, they all did some numbers together, duets, and the top 4 did some more solos. Clay sang "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from Lion King, and he also sang a new song from his CD called "Invisible." That was my favorite -- (and you can find it on Kazaa and other file sharing programs if you are interested. I think about 5 demos from his new CD have leaked out.) Clay and Ruben did a duet singing "That Girl Is Mine" which was really good - they look like they have a good time with each other and had some cute dialogue moments.

Clay totally deserved to win American Idol, does anyone agree?
I heard that there was problems with voting and not all the votes were counted!!

well since it is AMERICAN Idol and you have to vote for the one you like best... the producers dicided to follow the example of the Presidential election.

I liked Clay also. He was a very graceful loser, which made him all the more of a winner.

I think his version of This is the Night is amazing.
But for some reason I heard that it was a remake.. Is this true? Maybe I am totally weird and did not know this. (okay so I know I am weird)

...also anyone know what will be on the cd?

I found these demos on Kazaa, which some have said are 5 of the songs that will be on the CD....

Two of them are remakes from a Christian singer (the starred ones) from what I have been told. "Invisible" is my absolute favorite, followed by "I Will Survive You." If anyone is interested in hearing them and can't find them, private message me and I'll email them to you.
