Octet

Is there any buzz about this show? The subject doesn't particularly appeal to me but at $35 for a new Dave Malloy musical, it seems like a steal. Also, it might be about any number of expected topics (politics, internet porn, cyberbullying, etc.) or new-ish topics (fascist subcultures, incels, youtubers, etc.) but I can't help but wonder if there might be an allusion to the Oak/Mandy debacle and the way the internet facilitated that mess.

From the show description, you can probably find that in there, whether or not Malloy did it on purpose. I don't think he'd still be carrying a grudge about that, though, since it was always a downtown show that somehow crashed the party.
