broadway.com has the odd couple logo/poster online now. It's a painted picture of nathan and matthew. Pretty cool.
It's been at the Yahoo! Broadway Site for a couple weeks, now.
It's in my signature - so we'll always have Rosie here at BWW.
seriously...enough with roise..rosie and jacko deserve to be put on mars, or as far away from this damned entertainment industry as possible!
Yahoo! has a Broadway site?

Lane's eyebrows in that picture terrify me, but Broderick's caricature is dead-on. Very nice.
Wait, wait, wait...I haven't been really paying a whole lot of attention to the news about The Odd Couple (since I know it's going to be a hot ticket, and I won't be able to afford one!) BUT, the last I heard, I thought Lane was playing Felix and Broderick was playing Oscar...Did I totally imagine that, or was it just a rumor that had no validity to it, or did they change their minds on the casting?? I actually think I liked the idea of Lane as Felix and Broderick as Oscar better, but maybe that's just me.
And, just to stay on topic...Thumbs up for the logo!

I heard they would switch the roles, like actors do with True West. Creates quite a problem for the logo painter, though, doesn't it? :P

Lane was ALWAYS Oscar and Broderick, Felix from the very first press release.
While it would have been neat to see them play the roles that don't seem to fit their Max/Leo relationship, this just makes so much sense:)
It was widely reported that they MAY switch roles.

Who is the artist? It is very reminiscent of the logo for the 1996 revival of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, which had Nathan Lane's face on it.
Or maybe it's just me.
Actually, Lane and Broderick had discussed switching off during the run but it was decided that it would be too confusing for the audience as they would want to know who was playing whom before they bought tix...some people would ONLY want to see Lane play Oscar, etc.
As for the artwork...these caricatures are getting kind of old. Hang it in Sardi's, but for the play poster? I don't like it.
