Of Mice and Men Stage Door

Does anyone know if Of Mice and Men has a ticketholders only area at the stage door for those who just saw the show to get an opportunity to get fairly close? I know several theaters do that and wasn't sure if it was being done at the Longacre.

Of Mice and Men Stage Door

I went this past weekend and there was nothing of that kind, unfortunately. However, I was easily able to make it down to the street from my front mezzanine seat (aka… after the entire mezzanine and orchestra had already exited the building) and obtain a spot behind the barricade and get a Playbill signed by the two leading men. The others only signed the group of people closest to the stage door. Hope this helps!

Of Mice and Men Stage Door

I went this past Sunday and there was also nothing of that kind as GreasedLightning said. Many people just stood there complaining about "half of these people didn't even see the show" etc. I could of cared less to get their autographs, I just wanted to tell Chris O'Dowd how fricken FANTASTIC he was! They barricaded the right side of the stage door when we came out of the theatre, but they eventually let people line up there (so people were lining up on the left side of the door first before the right side). Have fun!

Just PLEASE don't leave before the audience claps. I saw at least four girls literally JUMP from their seats before the play was even over, and if you know this play you'll know that it completely ruins that moment.

Of Mice and Men Stage Door

When I went to buy a signed If/Then BC/EFA poster, they let me enter the theater while the show was still going on accidentally, since they told me I could go in the inner lobby once the audience started exiting... so, a rush of people came out, and I went in... only to find out that they were leaving the show before the last song or even curtain calls just to get a good spot in the signing line?!

They do not as far as i can tell. But James and Chris spent a long time signing the huge crowd on Sunday. Just make sure to be at the front of the circle that forms on the side walk and streets.
And the barricade closest to the theater was blocked at first, but they open it after the crowd has left the theater. So you can try waiting for that too.
