Barb -
Thanks so much for posting all the pictures. I had to miss the matinee and I got knocked off the Internet last night, so I missed quite a bit. I did mention the fan art section of Greg's site but I don't think anyone was listening.

For you extremely lucky folks who get the back stage tours - HOW DO YOU DO IT? I figured out the other day that I've been going to the theatre for a little over 45 years (YES - I'M THAT OLD!) and I've never even seen the back stage of a theatre! I do volunteer work for local theatres all the time but I've never been invited back stage. Just how do you do it? (This is a sincere request.)

aw man, i've listened to the "naked mole rat" song SOOOO many times!

"WHAT IS THAT? THAT FREAKY THING!?" (yes, that's right, it's the naked mole rat!)

lol!

oh, and you can VOLUNTEER at theaters? can you volunteer at any of the bdway ones? probably not, right? haha, well, hopefully when i got to college in 2 years, i'll be able to get a job at a theater somewhere. that would be cool. (well, anyways, mamie, i think it's horrible that they treated you that way. you should get more respect because of the fact that you're NOT getting paid!)

oh, and i love the john wallpaper! <3

and has anybody read this thread yet? it's making me REALLY mad:

ok, so just read like, 15 pages of thread. Interesting stuff, and stuff I know I wanted to mention but can't remember. I will say that I had seen the Joanna thread and it is wrong. I can understand why some people will ask why she doesn't come out (I know I certainly did) but to say things like that. That's wrong.

I just realized that the pictures I see on the webcam slideshow aren't all the pictures that show up when the webcam is going live. So, I have to make sure that I see the webcam live from now on. And try to put messages on this thread more than I do. Cause I hate reading through 15 pages before I can write anything. I hate to sound rude but how do you guys have a life? I mean, I see threads from people every single day. Could it just be because of summer? I don't know. Again, sorry if I sounded rude.

I hope to see DRS one more time before going to college. And if I know what day, I'll definately email Greg and ask him in the most polite way possible if I could have a tour of the backstage. I would love to visit that famous dressing room of his.

well, I think I have written enough for now. I'll be back to see if anyone else is still on. Till then...

I always feel so lucky when the stars come out after a show. I mean, they are all famous, almost if not as famous as movie stars (some are movie stars ie. John Lithgow). And we all have a chance to meet them, if we are lucky, and most of the time we are. I treasure all the signatures I have gotten over the years from Broadway stars. And Greg, thanks for coming out for your fans. We really appreciate it. I know it makes all of us happy here. And especially the webcam, that is the best. Thanks for that.

happy early birthday Kerrie! I'll probably be on the thread on the 19th but if I'm not, happy birthday.

Loganne, I see where you are coming from. But I think I would like him more as a friend and/or advisor then a....crush? (I guess that is the right word). But I know what you mean. He is so nice, and considerate, and just an all round awesome guy.

Yay for the thread's birthday! Happy august! I leave for college in 20 days. AHHHH!!! Scary thought.

i'm *looking* for summer jobs in spain for next year while waiting for people to reply. So, I sort have no life right now. I WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE!!! Yet I don't, cause I will be foar away from Broadway and that makes me sad. Cause I usually see one broadway show a month (maybe two if I'm lucky). I hope to see DRS one more time before college with or without John Lithgow. I want to see Greg one last time!

ok. missed a lot while internet was down.

CLAP CLAP CLAP!!!!

Now that that is done, I knew I wanted to do English as my major since some time this year. It was the only way I could get my mom to agree to let me do my masters in theatre arts. The past three years, I want'ed to major in biology then I realized, I wasn't good at memorizing all the different crap things that your body is made of that people don't need to know. So, english it is.

and...i think that is it.

glad you had a great dinner, Kerrie. I had to make stuffed pasta and I almost ruined it by making it soggy. But that has nothing to do with Greg. But wait....everything has to do with greg. Maybe he will have pasta the next time he is on webcam. hmmm...that's an idea.

As you can see, I'm talking nonsense here so I am signing out and saying goodnight. going to watch a movie on my laptop then fall asleep, dreaming of watching DRS again.

(Sorry this was a long post. I tend to ramble a bit. But I'm British and that's what we do.)

Edit: *Gasp!* I'm a chorus member now! Yay!

Mammie, to clean stuff up, my dog is in the picture. Yes, it may sound weird that dogs can be in senior yearbook pictures, but ours are arranged by a company outside of school that you have to get done the summer before senior year. And they are taken outside and I saw someone last year have their dog in the picture, and i have no great picture of me and my dog, so I decided why not. The funny thing is, out of all the pictures the guy took, that one is the only perfect one where my dog doesn't look like he is moving. A split second later though, he was. Someone actually asked me if it was a picture of a stuffed dog, cause it was too perfect, but it's not. When you see it, you'll understand.

About the softball game, do the actors actually play in them or what? I don't get it.

And the ferretcam was such a rip off. Plus, the picture only comes up every 2 minutes. Greg's is better since it comes up every minute.
