Its just a thought we're discussing as most everyone will be in school during that time...Including myself, and everyone knows the cam wouldn't surive sans moi!

hello! Finally thought I should make an appearance after what I wrote this morning. haha.

Jamie~ Glad you liked what Andrew said. he was cool. And sort of hard to recognize him in regualr clothes. But he was cool. Oh, and also, I had a digital disposable camera that I got at CVS and he was amazed at that. He didn't know that they existed.

Liz~loved the opening comment. And I completed forgot to ask Greg: a) how he floats (or at least try and see how he does it in his dressing room. Not like he is going to tell us though.) and b) if he could eat fire for us during a webcam. But I'm sure he'll do it one day.

other than that, i can't think of what else to say. is there a chat tonight?

Hello all -

I don't post here often so it usually takes me an hour or so to catch up on all the posts. So .....

- I wish I could remember when I sent that note to Jo asking for an autograph. I had a Playbill from my first (semi-successful) attempt to see DRS and I sent it to her with a note and a SASE. I've been collecting autographs since I was 8 yrs old and I used to be very organized and always wrote down the date I asked for the autograph and the date I actually got it back. I can't remember to do that anymore......which explains why I can't remember when I sent the Playbill to her. The only thing I'm sure of is that it was just last week.
(It's so much fun reading all your posts here. I'll probably forget them tomorrow. See what you have to look forward to?)

- Thank you Cat for posting that link to pg 238. I've been using photobucket to host all the images I post here. It never occured to me that you could link to the fan photo page. That's got to make it easier for folks who don't have an account at the photo hosting sites and don't necessarily want to open one. SEE? YOU CAN TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS!

- A major congratulations and pat on the back to Andrea and Traci! It sounds like you had a wonderful time with your visit with Greg. And your personally conducted tour backstage!?! That would have been a dream come true for me! I'm very happy for you both.

- Liz - Bravo on the intro. Beautifully done!

- I have my own theory as to why most of posters on this thread are women. I mentioned once before that it looks like the vast majority of males in the DRS cast are straight. Personally I get a little tired of all the really good looking men on Broadway being automatically confiscated by the gay guy members of BWW. DRS seems to have some really nice (and GOOD LOOKING) guys of every age, size, and shape in the cast and the gay guys can't have them! They're ours to convo with (strictly via the net) and fanticize over. Of course the icing on the cake is the fact that Mr. J is undoubtedly the nicest guy on Broadway - if not in NYC!

- As for stopping the cam on Wednesdays.... My first reaction was 'why not?'. Not only are most of the posters here students who won't be able to visit on Wednesdays, but I've never been able to see the Wed's matinee cam because of work. I also agree that it would give Greg and the rest of the visiting cast members a break from having to entertain us.

Having said all that though - I then realized that we have a moral and civic responsibility here. Capturing the images for Greg's web site does keep our favorite web master busy and off the streets on Wednesday afternoons. Who knows what might happen to her if she were left idle on those days? Mischief, mayhem,...sex change operations? I know I don't want the responsibility for that on my head and I don't think you do either. So I say - Keep Barb constructively occupied on Wednesdays by keeping the cam going!

traci, was that taken on wednesday, or thursday?

i MUST go to see DRS again and meet greg, now! AND ANDREW!

oh, and is it pronouced andrew "as-knees" or "as-nez"?

dre, you're right. his face DOES look rounder w/the glasses! lol. i like him better without them. he has a REEALLY nice smile!
