Not For the Life of Me (reprise) by Bun Foo and Ching Ho - Thoroughly Modern Millie
Keep it Gay (everything..especially Shirley Markowitz. It's also funny how Scott the choreographer says, "Hi, there," and the tempo and music changes for two seconds, lol) - The Producers
Springtime for Hitler - The Producers
Timeless to Me - Hairspray

I I laughed at this when I first heard the Les Miserables CD..
I thought Javert said:
One more day to revolution
We will nip it in the butt
We'll be ready for these school boys
They will wet themselves.. la la
But it was suppossed to be:
When One more day to revolution
We will nip it in the bud
We'll be ready for these school boys
They will wet themselves.. with blood!
EAsy mistake.. someone starts sing right after "wet themselves"

Springtime for Hitler from The Producers. I don't think any other song has ever made me laugh that hard. I'm mean, EVER.
Oh, and Keep It Gay. I didn't think it was possible to have that many gay stereotypes on stage at the same time.

that's all well and good, but not quite what I was getting at.

"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears."
CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre"
"I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is."

What song is that? Is it on the highlights CD, I want to find it.
Also, you've probably heard this before, but when I thought in 42nd Street they said in Shuffle Off to Buffalo, "First you serve them with some p**is..." But I think this is more about funny lyrics rather than misheard.

I think Dolly is referring to when Javert sings during "One Day More"

I do actually sorta get a kick out of the scene when they are heckling Marius about being in love during "Red and Black"
"I am agog...I am aghast
Is Marius in love at last?
I've never seen him ooh and aah..
you talk of battles to be won
and here he comes like Don Juan,
it's better than an opera."

I think it's bad timing. For example, when he goes "They will wet themselves with blood," "blood" is cut off a bit by someone else's singing, and it sounds like "la".
And of course bud sounds like "butt."
Misheard lyrics are funny.

Virgil, I love you!
In a musical revue show, I did "Tina's Mother". I distinctly remember forgetting "I could have been an office girl, a wizard at dictation..."
I second "Master of the House"
Also, Urinetown, where they discuss the "organs" and other such things.

In the movie theater song from "I love you, you're perfect, now change" when he says the line about wanting to see a chainsaw. My whole family lost it about then.

No, Javert's part in ODM was most definitely not misheard. Philip Quast, when singing, pronounces every "d" that ends a word as a "t". You will notice it in Stars also.

I think Popular is hysterical, especially at "did they have brains or knowledge, don't make me laugh, they were popular!"
Joshua Noveck is also really funny if done right!

Yes, I agree, lol. There is a double meaning in that little discussion between Bobby and Miss Pennywise, depending on which way you take it.

Today4U from Rent
the part in Les Mis where the Madam/Master T come out outrageously dressed and then a while later silverware falls out of their clothes and they look up at the ceiling like thats where it came from... i dont know its a lot better when you actually see it...

The song Another Dead Cow from Bat Boy is HI-larious here are some of the words for those who don't know it: (They're speaking of the dying cow epidemic in their town)
Bossie's thin as a fishin' pole!
Bessie's flat as a flounder
Little Bonnie, god rest her soul
was barely one quarter-pounder!
Sweet Jesus now I'm Petrified!
They gonna repossess my double-wide!
Got another dead c...
Got another d...
Got ano...
Guh...
SOOOOOOO Funny when done live!
