We saw it today.
About 1/3 of the balcony was empty & I think the house was heavily papered.
The show was a pleasant diversion. The 2 major sets got long & loud applause & deservedly so. The performances are first rate especially Harriet Harris. If you can see it it is worth your time
By the way, across the street from the theater is the new Ripleys Believe It or Not Museum. It is eyecatching to say the least. i went to the old one years ago where the Marriott marquis stands today

Roxy to call this production a "pleasant diversion" is being overly kind. Yes, the performances are good, but the direction is weak and the play plods along at a snail's pace. It's a sad comment on the state of today's theater when comments about a play start off with rave reviews for the sets.

Dollypop, while you may be right, I'm still tempted to see this later this month.

Don't spend more than $20 for your seat. The theater's empty, so you have no problems moving down to better locations.
