Karen Olivo, who will not be back as Satine when "Moulin Rouge!" reopens, is appearing at a Chicago theater company's "Peacefest" for one night on Oct. 2:

Warning:  She may be pontificating more than singing and since six other "Voices of Peace" are in this hour show in a, uh, difficult part of Chicago, it may not be worth the $35 tickets if you just want to see her (although there is an industry discount and an even bigger discount to "social justice activists".

Peace is definitely a good cause to support. This world could use more of it.
