Is there a list somewhere with all plays and musicals on Broadway right now? I know most of the plays that were at the Tony's but what about other musicals like Phantom and is Les Mis still playing? What about 42nd Street? Anyone know where I can find this? Us west coasters don't know much:P (well maybe that's just me! Just trying to become educated)!

Thanks, i can't believe I missed that. LOL
Lol, or Playbill, Broadway.com has most shows. Telecharge lists all of them. And no, LES MIS closed awhile ago :'(.

Actually, I just noticed that the list hasn't been updated in a month or two -- Drowning Crow, Gypsy, King Lear, Match and Sixteen Wounded have all closed; Bombay Dreams, Caroline or Change, and Frozen are open and running. Good sights to check for current shows, news, reviews and updates:
-- playbill.com (news, listings and a great discount club)
-- broadway.com (news, reviews & articles)
-- nytheatre.com (also has reviews and the most extensive and up-to-date list and synopses of current Broadway, off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway productions),
-- theatremania (reviews, articles, listings and a discount club)
-- broadwaystars.com (excellent; daily links to theatre-related articles from several publications; keeps a listing of upcoming shows, dates and theatres on the right side of the page)
-- curtainup.com (reviews -- excellent)
-- broadwaybox.com (discount info for all the current broadway and off-broadway shows)
-- ibdb.com (searchable database for broadway history)
-- the Lortel Arhives at www.lortel.org/LLA_archive/index.cfm (searchable database for off-Broadway)
-- www.broadway-theater-tickets.com/includes/Theater/ (seating charts for all the New York theatres)
Be careful, Broadway.com (and maybe Playbill.com) don't have all the shows. Check something like Telecharge, they'll have everything, even if they don't sell tickets to it.
But the best, and always updated, is ibdb.com

Actually, Telecharge doesn't list Roundabout's shows (Broadway or off-Broadway -- Roundabout handles their own ticketing), off-Broadway shows that they don't sell tickets to (which is maybe half all the listings at any given time -- smarttix handles a lot of those because they charge the theatres a lower fee), and ignores off-Broadway altogether. Ticketmaster's even worse.
Playbill is more complete than either of them and nytheatre.com is maybe the only complete and up-to-date listing of every single show playing in New York at any given moment (and no I don't work them).

ibdb.com covers ONLY Broadway and ignores everything else which is a joke considering Broadway represents only a fraction of the theatre going on in New York at any given time and an even smaller fraction of the GOOD theatre going on at any given time. A site that ignores, the Public, Signature, Manhattan Theatre Club, MCC, Atlantic, Playwrights, BAM, Second Stage, the Vineyard, LCT's Newhouse, NYTW, Encores and all of commercial off-Broadway is totally useless for listings. Heck, most of the Tony nominees and winners this and in nearly every season start out at one of those theatres.
