I heard that hiptix for this production were near impossible, is that true? I just signed up today for hiptix and scored 2 tickets for this Wed in the Mezz row D seats 101 & 102. I know these seats are in the far side but how is the view in this theater? They aren't marked partial view.

Pretty much exactly where I sat. I was row E same seats i believe. Great view, not partial at all!

In my opinion, all the seats in the American Airlines Theatre are great, even the partial view seats. I used their free HipTix program for about a year before I upgraded to HipTix Gold. Now I get seats a couple rows away from the stage.
