Thank you all for your advice and well wishes. I ended up seeing drum roll... Xanadu!! And in the second row!! I totally did this after reading Cheyenne's blog today and after an unexpected rough day yesterday--work issues on my vacation.grr. I needed a comedy and after reading his blog I really wanted to support this cast. What a treat! This was actually recommended to me by a friend whose birthday is the day before mine. We're both Leos and he totally knew I would love the camp and over-the-topness. I just can't say enough about the humor-- I cracked up at Kerry Butler's accent every time. I also never knew how beautiful Cheyenne's is. He is so talented. And even more entertaining, I sat next to this middle-aged woman who had the hots for him. Every time he came on stage she would say "oh, my.. yum yum. look at those legs." So funny. This is a show I would see again, definitely.
