Oh of course it's not a favorite... it's just a really fun show.

Posted: 3/1/05 at 3:52pmThe music is adorable!! I've never seen it though, can't wait till the TV Movie. Great songs for gals like me - character actresses who can't quite sing the best. I auditioned for a revue with Sensitivity. Totally "Rex-Harrisoned" my way through! I adore Happily too!

Posted: 3/1/05 at 4:04pmI'm currently rehearsals for a production of it, playing Dauntless. While the show has never been a favorite, I'm enjoying the experience. It's total fluff, but surprisingly funny fluff, with a score that ranges from downright weird to cute and clever.

It was a good show for my school to do, as there was only one vocally talented male that tried out. He played Sir Harry, and a goofy kid that fit the part PERFECTLY played Dauntless.
I couldn't quite understand why we stuffed Lady Larken's dress to make her look 9 months pregnant when she was only about one...

i was just lady larken!! i agree that the book could be a little better, but the songs are really fun!!
the scenes provide a lot of comedic wiggle room for the wizard..we had an AMAZING wizard who had us rolling on the floor every night. it was great!!
it is an adorable show, but seconding all the others, not my #1

I'm afraid I MIGHT be whipped for this one...
Anyone else think Sarah Jessica Parker wasn't good for the role?
