Once Upon a Mattress audition

I'm an alto with a pretty good range who's looking for an audition song for Once Upon a Matress. I'm not going after any part in particular, but an actual speaking/singing role would be nice.

You should audition for Winnifred. Maybe Anything Goes would be good, but I'm thinking something more Rogersish. Look for a belty Rogers or Berlin song.

The Queen and Fred are both wonderful character roles - Larken is the leading lady type (even though Fred's the lead female). I'd go for something fun andd atypical, like Annie Get You Gun.

I just did this show and our Queen (amazing, by the way) used "Broadway Baby" as her audition song.

Our Winnifred used "Freddy My Love" (I believe) from Grease.

Broadway Baby is an excellent choice for a show like this - for any female character!
