Amy and Jonathan share loads and loads of laughs as he recalls his young obsession with Ethel Merman in ''Annie Get Your Gun'' and growing up gay. Jonathan reminisces about ''Spring Awakening,''' ''Hamilton,'' ''Merrily We Roll Along'' and ''Just in Time'' (and the recent time where he lost his voice).

On a personal note, this year marks the 20th anniversary of my first meeting Jonathan; he was so excited and sweet about doing his first-ever Playbill interview. He was 21, making his Off-Broadway debut in ''Spring Awakening.'' It's been such a joy to watch his 2-decade-long journey to Tony-winning star.
