Hey everyone-
My friend burnt me a copy of island about two years ago, and i have absolutly no idea which cast it is, london or broadway. i would ask him, but he moved and i haven't talked to him since then so, i was wondering if anyone could help. all i can say is that the actors have extremely strong accents.

Thanks so much!

Hi, this might help. According to footlight.com, the London recording has 23 tracks, while the Broadway recording has 19 tracks.

I love this show. I saw it in a school production about five years ago and downloaded all the music.

Ti Moune's voice in the London is lower, and she sings off key a lot.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
