"One Mo' Time?" - Theatremania

I kind of like this article - it's about the dilemma in seeing subsequent productions of your favorite shows... something I'm torn about kind of often lately. Anyway, I venture I'm not the only one who has felt this way, so I thought I'd post it.

So many regional productions of AIDA have been popping up in the past year, but I'm afraid they won't be 'the same.' Of course they won't, but in the same sense, sometimes I feel like rather than potentially being disappointed, I might as well just forget about them, and remember the show as it was, and as I loved it - might as well not rock the boat of memory. Then I figure, if I love it so much, I should take the chance to revisit it... because you never know when your last chance will be. I still haven't seen the show since it closed on Broadway. I always shy away, and I know that's hugely stubborn of me.
