One Reason Why I Admire the Actors' Fund#0

I have a dear, dear friend who's just recently gone into the Actors' Fund Home. Most of you know that I am a big volunteer of my performance time, giving it to Hearts & Voices & Lennox Hill Alzheimers Outreach. I'm now looking forward to donating my performance time again to the Actors' Fund Home, which I hadn't been able to do for some years.

I was just visting my friend who, up until recent weeks, had supported himself as a working actor, as a 50-yr. member of Equity, SAG, AGVA, etc. In my visits to him there I discovered several well-known (& I do mean well-known, performers that many readers of this board would know or recognize by face) performers who are living at the Actors' Fund Home. I was just amazed to learn this.

I'd like to urge everyone who can to support the Actors' Fund by not only attending their Fund Raiser Performances, but also to join me in going to the Actors' Fund Home to perform for those retired and nursing home live-in's there. It really is a wonderful gift to them & something that is a gift to yourself, as well.
