Yes Erik, I knew someone had sggested Take Me Out. I saw that play and thought it was great. As a parent, I would tend to stay away from that for a teenage girl. (Maybe for older teens, depending on maturity and parental allowance). And as BroadwayGirl said, good luck getting her parents to agree on that one ![]()
Thank you Courtney. Yes, too bad Enchanted April is closing, it probably would have been a good choice. And yes, The Exonerated, I forgot about that on. Great choice.
BroadwayGirl, perhaps you could even get your parents to accompany you to Exonerated. It could really open up some discussion. Either way, it is a riveting show with a lot to say.
One other suggestion for all you full time high school, college, or drama/dance/music students. You are elegible to join TDF.
For $22.50 a year, you can see lots of shows for low prices. They have recently had Beauty and the Beast and 42nd Street for under $30. They have offered Take Me Out, Enchanted April, Big River, Flower Drum Song, La Boheme, numerous broadway and off-broadway plays which sometimes cost as low as $16 a ticket. Perhaps your parents can get you the membership as a gift. Use it once and it pays for itself. The application can be printed from
