Finally posting about my experience up at NYSAF this past weekend. Caught the Friday performance of "R-E-S-P-E-C-T", which had amazing music and some great performances especially Ebony Jo-Ann, Kingsley Leggs, and Brennan Leath. The vocals were incredible, and the audience had a great time. Saw Richard Frankel there, so I hope it finds a life outside of Vassar's Powerhouse Season. After the show, I went to the opening night party and met a bunch of the staff and actors there. Saw Kevin Spacey hanging out with Logan Marshall-Green and worked up the courage to thank him for revitalizing the Old Vic and for bringing a new audience to Broadway this season. I'm going back to Vassar soon to see "Geometry of Fire" again and I'm pretty psyched to see John Shanley/Henry Krieger's "Romantic Poetry", even Idina-less. Love to hear about others experiences up at NYSAF.
BUMP
My dad is a pilot for american airlines and he had kevin spacey on going to london a week or so ago and he said he was jerk. BUT if I were kevin spacey I might feel entitled to be a jerk too.
He was the guest speaker at my high schools graduation last week and he was extremely nice. Also his speech was hiilarious.
