Original HAiR question

Ok, so I recently got a Playbill from the Boston sit-down of HAiR in 1970 or so. I know that the infinity sign denotes a production approved by the authors. But, there is a marking I don't know, below the R is a roman numeral I. What does that mean?

Also, it came with a gigantic Tarot card for The Lovers...is there some significance to that as well?
