Original Two by Two

Did anyone see the original production of Two by Two??? I like some the songs but the book is a little rough. I think it could be patched up and revived.

It's being revived in Tennesee right now. Martin Charnin is doing some book rewrites and has added a new song.

I'd at least love to see ENCORES do it - with Martin Short as N0oah.

Hey there.....I'm the music director for the new version of Two by Two at the Cumberland County Playhouse (www.ccplayhouse.com) and the rewrite is fantastic. The new song (40 Nights) is actually an old song that was written for the original but was removed at Danny Kaye's insistance. My favorite song in the show is "An Old Man" it is absolutely beautiful and makes me cry every time I hear it. I just might put it in my next cabaret act.
