I'm wondering if they had planned on Anika Noni Rose and she just could't commit? She did drop out of Ceasar and Cleopatra with Christopher Plummer (at Stratford) last year after months of announcements and publicity and apparently she had always been dying to play Cleopatra.
And I'm pretty sure Jane Krakowski said she would transfer with the show. She's mentioned several times she wants back on Broadway and would work it out with 30 Rock.
Anyways, I'm not black and I know who Tichina Arnold is and I can't WAIT to see her as Evilene!
