That *is* exciting news, not only because it's Gordon, but also because it's a contemporary opera (and, for a change, not one by Adams... okay, inside joke there). I havent seen anything about the recording itself -- is there a release date set?

Broadwayworld has it listed for the 23rd of January! but i couldn't find it anywhere on sh-k-boom.com

I also hope to god that Grapes of Wrath is recorded!

What is this exactly? I heard it was a song cycle when it was advertised, a musical on a website i found when I serched, and here its an opera. What it is?

i think it's an opera. Or, at least that's what Mr Ian Gordon is calling it....

...I think.

whatever it is, I'm a huge Ian Gordon fan and i'll buy it regardless
