May she Rest In Peace.
One of my favs ...... I particularly enjoyed her performances (jewels, they were) as Pearl in Duel In The Sun and especially as the title character in Ruby Gentry<.i>.

I'm saddened to hear this. I was a great fan of hers. She was so good and so beautiful in the film of "Madame Bovary."
I'm glad I got to see her on stage in the City Center's production of "The Country Girl." I wish I could have seen her on Broadway in "Portrait of a Lady."
She managed to bring a bit of sentiment and humanity to the unsentimental and special effect laden The Towering Inferno.

One of the most beautiful and talented actresses ever to appear on stage and in films. No actress today even comes close in comparison..
