Never done rush, but the stage seats are amazing. I've sat in them twice, and they are great. You don't miss anything at all- they are actually the best seats in the house. Just try to sit on the ones closest to the audience so you don't minimize your view of the top level of the stage. They are particularly eerie to sit in come the last act when the graveyard scene is set up all around you...
I tried the rush a few weeks back about an hour after the box office opened and they were out of them.
But I highly recommend getting stage seats. They really are the best seats, as the action happens all around you. The show itself is amazing (especially this adaptation) and the stage seats make it even better.
