Out of town tryout question

Do the musicians who will be in the Broadway orchestra of show also travel with the show during out of town tryouts? Or do they hire professional musicians in the visiting city?

generally the MD and pianist will travel with the show...

an original show however is sometimes different because the music is new and companys will bring out musicians to play out of town....

but mostly the show travels as a company from actors to drivers crew and musicians
