wait so does than mean i can't post defiantly when i feel like being self righteous?
i'd like to propose that the use of consonants be banned. from now on we'll communicate using a series of vowel sounds and the pitch will define the meaning. it'll be tough at first to capture it with the keyboard, but i'm sure that someone has enough time to come up with the proper notation.
but until then, eeeeeee aaa o o o o ee!

Yes, of course, I forgot. We should continue to allow the masses to wallow in stupidity and correcting a very common spelling flaw should be looked down upon.

who exactly decides who is a member of "the masses" who "wallow in stupidity"? would that be you al dente? that defenetely sounds egotistical, especially because you yourself included a "flaw" in your list of common ways the word is spelled incorrectly. no papa, i guess we arent allowed to be "defiant" any longer. al dente says so.
