I agree, I don't think it was really breaking any ground but it was a great way to spend 90 minutes and had a pretty tight script that felt both fun and creepy, so overall a good reimagining of Macbeth. I really didn't think much about it after the show but I did mention it to my friend off hand, knowing that she likes weird show like this (and it felt in a similar vein to Scotland, PA which she enjoyed a lot) and she came back saying it was one of her favorite plays in a while. I think it's super well constructed and has some good plot twists (there were multiple instances of audible gasps in the audience) that all feel obvious in hindsight, though it didn't necessarily leave me with the urge to keep ruminating on it. But then again, sometimes that's all you need.
