Anyone else see this? I've been intrigued to see it ever since it was announced prior to the pandemic, and was glad to finally get the chance. I had some issues with it, but overall thought it was a strong piece.

I did see the show. I really liked it because it was like nothing I'd ever seen in a good way. It was very weird, and creepy, but this is why I love new work. I also think the actors did a great job.

I agree, I don't think it was really breaking any ground but it was a great way to spend 90 minutes and had a pretty tight script that felt both fun and creepy, so overall a good reimagining of Macbeth. I really didn't think much about it after the show but I did mention it to my friend off hand, knowing that she likes weird show like this (and it felt in a similar vein to Scotland, PA which she enjoyed a lot) and she came back saying it was one of her favorite plays in a while. I think it's super well constructed and has some good plot twists (there were multiple instances of audible gasps in the audience) that all feel obvious in hindsight, though it didn't necessarily leave me with the urge to keep ruminating on it. But then again, sometimes that's all you need.

Sounds like the type of show that may have a strong future at regional and local theaters.

It has a strong future in regional theatre, AND a strong past! It's already had something like 7-8 regional productions going back as far as 2015.

How violent/creepy/dark does this get? I am interested in seeing it but trying to avoid anything too dark and some show-score reviews have me second guessing.
Someone mentioned Scotland PA which was fine and I really liked. But that was always pretty camp, while some people are saying Peerless is more horror. Is that true?

I saw it and didn't think it was necessarily creepy but there are horror elements since it's loosely based on Macbeth- definitely expect some death but it's not graphic. There is one moment towards the end that gets a little tense but they handle it well and there is a cool stage effect-
Scotland PA was a much much better play imo, there is a great concept here but the play needs some work.
