PLEASE HELP!!!

I go to a performing arts high school in Connecticut, and we are doing this showcase for one of my musical theatre classes. I need to pick a song that has a female lead solo and the company/choir sings in the background. It needs to be powerful and much like God Loves Nubia from Aida or Somebody To Love from We Will Rock You. I would love for it to be a belter piece and be impressive to the audience.
