HELLO EVERYONE I AM GETTING READY FOR THE FIRST MUSICAL AT MY SCHOOL AND THEY ARE DOING SWEENEY TODD AND I AM EXTREMLY EXCITED AND ALL I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO SING ( YA I KNOW) SOO I HAVE A LIST OF MY REPERTOIRE AND I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME BY JUST LOOKING AT THE LIST AND PICKING WHICH ONES WOULD FIT FOR THE SHOW AND ALL ALSO... IF YOU KNOW ANY GOOD SONGS FOR IT THAT I COULD SING THAT WOULD BE AWESOME I AM A BARITONE BUT HERES MY LIST OF SONGS... AGAIN THANKS SOO MUCH IT MEANS ALOT !!!

I think it depends on what role you are going for.

Sing "Not While I'm Around". It shows you can do Sondheim music.

Show off your voice.

Walk in and toss off something that nobody else can do.

I'm not one to do songs from the show you are auditioning for.

From your list Dulcinea seems good provided you can effortlessly nail those high notes.

Vocally for most of the principals Sweeney Todd is operatic and floating those high notes can impress.

Don't be afraid to build the tempo slightly during the song. It keeps it from getting dull.

What is Dulcinea about? Where does it climax? What are you singing about?

Smile. Relax. Don't apologise. Have fun.
