#1POSSIBLE UPCOMING TOURS
Posted: 9/7/11 at 11:29amThere have been several shows that have come and gone before I had the chance to make it up to NYC, including some that are currently on broadway. I was just curious if anyone had any information on the following shows upcoming tours: The Book of Mormon, War Horse, Catch Me If You Can, and Wonderland. I was just curious about when they were going to start, what cities, etc. Thanks in advance for the help!!

Catch Me and Mormon both start touring next fall. Adams Family is just starting it's tour, and American Idiot starts later this fall as well. War Horse plays an engagement in Toronto starting in February. Haven't heard anything about Wonderland.
If you are able to make it up to Toronto, check out the sites of the city's two major theatrical presenters, Mirvish and Dancap:

I just received my 2012 renewal brochure from Dallas Summer Musicals. The shows are:
Bring It On
Million Dollar Quartet
La Cage Aux Folles
Memphis
Peter Pan
The Addams Family
Mamma Mia
Rain
The brochure also lists four shows coming in 2013 (although only one is coming for the first time.)
Wicked
Mary Poppins
The Lion King
Catch Me If You Can
This is the first inkling of a Catch Me If You Can tour that I'd heard about.

I'm dying to see the Hal Prince staging of Evita again. It has been too long...12 years since I last saw what was a very good recreation of it.
I miss the 90's, when the Hal Prince version was almost constantly touring the country.
I know it is to be revived on Broadway, but I'm not thrilled with the "wanna-be film version" staging of the recent London revival.

Posted: 9/11/11 at 10:17pmTheatre League has my My Fair Lady touring in a few of its cities... How come there has been no information about this tour? It's not touring through any of the Broadway Across America cities though.

Posted: 9/11/11 at 10:56pm^ It is usually pretty up to date, but I think they still need to put some more shows on the list. Is South Pacific going non-equity?

WONDERLAND is in talks for '12-'13 season too. As with mega-flops, who knows if they will happen though.
I would assume they would also revamp the show (for round #5), as the Broadway version was the least successful.
#16POSSIBLE UPCOMING TOURS
Posted: 9/12/11 at 2:34amI really want Wonderland to tour... I just want to see how they could re-vamp the show again. I think this would do better on the road than on Broadway.

I also think this will do better on tour (as all Wildhorn shows do).
The show definitely has the potential, the score is very very good (tons of showstoppers!). Hopefully it will happen, but who knows!

Just look at the tour booking websites.

Looks like HAIR and West Side Story will go non-equity in 2012-2013.
Ragtime is going on tour.
And no one is booking Wonderland. I doubt that tour will happen..
