Well...it appears the rumor may be quite true. Apparently the a one-minute teaser/trailer will be shown before both "The Notebook" and (in a rather amazing marketing move) "Fahrenheit 9/11." Both films open this Friday 6/25.

Here's our first real look at how Sir ALW & Joel Schumacher brought this musical to the screen. Can't wait to see Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum, Patrick Wilson, Minnie Driver, etc in action! I understand the set and costuming are quite opulent.

Anyone planning to go to either film this weekend?????

Me too! I plan on seeing it as well, so I will see the trailer if they do in fact add it to the previews.

I saw the Notebook last week, as the theatre I work at had a pre-screening of it.
I highly reccomend it for you romantics. But it is summer blockbuster material.

THE NOTEBOOK is a summer blockbuster??? Does Gena Rowlands turn into a robot and rip Rachel McAdams head off before declaring that she and her robot kind are taking over the world?

I think I'll definetly be seeing "The Notebook" this weekend!! quick question though- Will the trailer just be playing the DAY these 2 movies come out?

From what I understand it is just part of the regular group of trailers that'll accompany the movie at any viewing.

Can't wait for it to be on the web, too!

Oh my... seeing "Patrick Wilson" and "Raoul" in the same sentence is nearly killing me. Y'all know who I thought of when I saw "Raoul" at first... even though it's spelled differently. But no, really, I can't wait for the POTO film. Patrick's "All I Ask of You" is going to be beautiful.

I've heard from people who have seen some of the film that it looks and sounds AMAZING.

I for one can't wait to see the trailer, buy the soundtrack, see the film, buy the DVD Special Edition :)
