It's "official" - the dates for Pacific Overtures are up.

Previews begin November 12
Opening night is December 2

The Marquee is quite clever!

Gee, i am not a big fan of the Pacific Overtures logo. It just doesn't make me want to go and check it out. I just haven't been a big fan of any of the Roundabout's logos lately.

I think the logo looks to vintage like it was the original 70s production instead of a modern stylistic look like the ASSASSINS logo.

Hm. Doesn't look too 1970's to me- just a bit odd. I guess I'm not used to Noh. :) For some reason I like the marquee better than the full poster.

And the original production was more Kabuki than Noh, right?

Yes, the original used Kabuki. I loved the original logo - the Kabuki "Lion Dancer" against the American flag.

I dont really like the logo much either.
