Pacific Overtures/which recording?

HELP!
So I'm standing in Border's an hour a go....with both the OBCR of Pacific Overtures, and the new cast recording. When I listen to the various cuts, none line up; ie #3 on original is not #3 on new. On the new they list them...on the old, they do not....SO, all you experts out there, which one should I buy?

I have not heard the new cast album, but I saw the production. I did not see the original production, but I have the cast album. If you can buy both, buy both. If not, I'm usually inclined to go with the original recording.

Loved the Revival, but this New Recording is missing...something.

It's good.
But the OBCR is perfection.

I was hoping the new recording wouldn't turn out like the Assassins revival recording, but your post is making me lose hope, Priest.

thank you all...based on this, I've ordered the OBCR
I'm glad I waited, as I was going to order the new, just based on the cover.
This groub is fabulous!

I bought both...the new cast recording has 18 tracks, and the OBCR only has 11.....
