Did anyone see the original production of 'Pack of Lies' starring Rosemary Harris and Patrick McGoohan? If yes, what was your opinion of McGoohan's performance?

I saw it but I don't remember much about McGoohan's performance. Probably because Rosemary Harris' performance eclipsed both the writing and the other actors.

It's a most compelling piece, and Judi Dench played it in London. The daughter was played by Tracy Pollan, Mrs. Michael J. Fox. Curiously, I don't remember McGoohan being it. Are you sure? Dana Ivey played the American (spy) neighbor. I forgot the others, and I can't find my playbill.

McGoohan played the spy who convinced the family to use their house as a stakeout.
