The red carpet interviews and the Winner's Circle interviews are so incredibly awkward and tepid. Am I the only one who would love to see someone with a bit more charisma and experience do these interviews?
There were several times during these broadcasts that I wanted to switch the channel while beating my head against the wall, but there was no other alternative.
Not knowing people's names, spending 2 minutes explaining the ticket lottery system to a Best Actress winner, etc.
It reminds me of that skit on SNL where Chris Farley would interview people. "Paul McCartney... you remember that time when you were in the Beatles...? That was AWEsome."
Did anyone count the number of times that Ms. Price reminded us that she is an actress?
